How you start your morning shapes your entire day. Yet many women wake up already behind — checking phones, responding to others, rushing out the door.
A morning practice doesn't have to be long. Even 5 minutes of intention can shift how you meet the day.
Here are five simple morning wellness practices you can do in 15 minutes total.
Before you reach for your phone, sit on the edge of your bed and take three slow, deep breaths.
This activates your parasympathetic nervous system — calming your body and signaling that you're safe.
After your breaths, sit in stillness. Don't meditate. Don't chant. Just sit.
Notice what you feel. Notice what you hear. Notice the temperature of the air.
This practice trains your mind to be present — a skill that carries through your entire day.
In a journal or on your phone, write one sentence:
"Today, I choose to _______."
Fill in the blank with one quality you want to embody — patience, courage, presence, joy.
This single sentence becomes your anchor for the day. When things get chaotic, you can return to it.
Move for five minutes. It doesn't matter how.
Movement wakes up your body, increases blood flow, and releases endorphins. It reminds you that you live in a body — not just a mind.
Before you start your day, name one thing you're grateful for.
Not a list. Just one thing. Say it out loud or write it down.
Gratitude shifts your brain from scarcity to abundance. It reminds you that your life is already full — even on hard days.
Don't try to do all five practices tomorrow. Start with one.
In five weeks, you'll have a 15-minute morning practice that sets the tone for your entire day.
The Freedom Practice™ includes daily morning practices like these — guided visualization, journaling, and energy check-ins. It's free and takes just 5–15 minutes per day.
